Translations:
All ads are translated into creative French, Italian, Japanese, German, Spanish, and Chinese.
Translation charges cover all six languages and is not an option. Proper names,
addresses, phone/fax numbers, web-site and e-mail are not translated. All language
translations will be in black overprint. White lettering (reverse on black), can
be translated, but cannot be translated if built into the four-color process system.
Block type produced in the four-color process system also cannot be translated.
Color:
Standard process colors are used (cyan, magenta, yellow and black).
All Pantone colors should be broken into CMYK and should be made of process color
screens. Bleed ads must allow an extra 1/8 of-an-inch on all sides.
Production Specifications:
All advertising materials should be submitted
as an Indesign document on disk (CD, or DVD). PDF's are not accepted. Please include a color copy with disk. Please read electronic file specs regarding translation before designing the ad.

include a phone number that can be accessed from outside of the United States and include your website address. |
Additional Production Charges:
Destinations of New York State requests
all ads be submitted on disk in InDesign. Any ads that must be produced in-house, will be
subject to typesetting and layout charges and will be charged back to the customer
or agency.
Payment and Policy Requirements:
Deadlines: Space & contract:December 18, 2009
Disk: December 31, 2009
Publication Date: May 2010
Payments: invoiced January 2010.
Listings: One complimentary listing per
advertising customer (display ad). All others are paid advertising.
Agency
Commission:
15% given to accredited ad agencies based on Ad
space only. Final disk with color proof supplied, are required from agency to receive
commission. Translation fees are non-commissionable.
2% per month charged on ALL accounts over
30 days. No agency commission allowed on invoices outstanding 45 days or more.

Advertiser agrees to supply ads in Indesign or contact Destinations of New York State
for other options.

If
for any reason outside of its control, Destinations of New York State decides
that the magazine cannot be realized, in part or in total, to the benefit of the
advertiser, the company could cancel this contract by advising the advertiser
by notice and giving a credit. -
Destinations
is not liable for refusal or failure to publish any advertising.
Claims or legal action against Destinations arising from
any advertising, is the sole responsibility of the advertiser
and/or his/her agency. Cancellation not accepted after
November 1st, 2009.

Advertiser
hereby authorizes to publish this advertisement in Destinations of New York State
to occupy the space described in this agreement for which advertiser agrees to
pay to the order of Destinations of New York State.
